Garachico
Garachico was the most important port in Tenerife until the beginning of the 18th century, when a volcanic eruption changed its history. From that period the great richness of its historic patrimony still survives, and some of these stately buildings have now been converted into hotels. The town also has some very unusual natural seawater pools created by the lava from the volcano.

The town of Los Silos, in Isla Baja, is located in the heart of the Teno Massif, one of the island’s great geological treasures.
