The conference centre in Adeje opened in 2006 and is known as the "Centro Magma Arte y Congresos" It was designed by local architects Felipe Artengo Rufino, Fernando Martin Menis and Jose Maria Rodriguez-Pastrana. They were inspired by the ocean waves and designed spectacular curved shapes for the roof, which is supported by 12 concrete and "chasnera" stone monoliths, a typical stone from the south of Tenerife. The building is in the tourist resort of Costa Adeje and combines both functional and artistic features to create a great conference centre.
