The shipping lines that operate from Los Cristianos port, in the south of Tenerife, sail to San Sebastián on the island of La Gomera; La Estaca, on the island of El Hierro; and Santa Cruz de La Palma. This is a busy passenger port, which is often used by tourists on trips to La Gomera. There are also many boats offering sightseeing trips to the Cliffs of Los Gigantes or whale and dolphin watching excursions.
