History of a Carnival
'Tenerife History of a Carnival' is the subject chosen by Santa Cruz to hold the Carnival celebrations in 2010. The first events scheduled will take place from 27 January with the contest of children' murgas (choruses) , and will be followed by various competitions of comparsas, and other adult murgas, to finish with the Grand Gala of the Election of the Queen of Carnival on February 10 by the Recinto Ferial. The parade that will visit Santa Cruz center on the 12th is marking the beginning of Carnival in the street.
